Dr Cindy Lu

 

Dr Lu is a graduate from the University of Sydney. 

She trained at Westmead, Concord + RPA Hospitals. She holds a Certificate in Family Planning.

Dr Lu completed the College of General Practitioners course, which included a rigourous but enriching learning experience in her rural rotation in Muswellbrook.

 

During the course of her General Practice work, Dr Lu developed an interest in Acupuncture as a safe and effective option for patients who suffered pain, and were taking too many medications, or had side effects from medication, or where surgery was contra-indicated. 

 

Dr Lu completed the NSW Medical Acupuncture course in 2003.

In 2012, she undertook further intensive training in the Fellowship course of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College.

Through this course and mentorship with distinguished Medical Acupuncturists in Australia + Japan, Dr Lu refined her skills in different modalities of Acupuncture, including scalp (YNSA) + ear acupuncture in the management of acute + chronic pain, stress, insomnia and other conditions. 

 

Dr Lu also speaks Chinese: Cantonese + Mandarin. 

Dr Lu is a supporter of Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), an independent medical humanitarian aid organisation.

Dr Edmond Ho : Experienced male GP who has been with the practice for over 25 years + has a dedicated following of patients from all ages. Dr Ho also has a regular list of Nursing Home patients.

 

Dr Francis Lee : General Dentist who has been with the practice for 30 years. Dr Lee also does Implant dentistry.

 

Dr Rebecca Ho : Female Dentist with special interest in Orthodontics (braces) + sleep dentistry.

 

Dr Anthony Ho : General Dentist.

 

Ms Amy Chou : Accredited Practising Dietician with special interests in Diabetes (Type1,2 + Gestational), weight management, PCOS + renal impairment. Amy also speaks Mandarin.

 

Our support staff include Medical receptionists Winkie + Sally, Dental assistant/

receptionists Qing + Jency, + Dental assistant Ann.

 

fees + medicare rebates

 

From 1st May 2016, Dr Lu will continue to bulk-bill pensioners, Health care card holders + children under 16yo, but all other consultations will be charged.

 

Fees will depend on the time +/or complexity of the consultation.

The gap for Pap smears/ Acupuncture will be $20-$25, while the gap for other consults will be around $13- $20.

The first visit for new patients will be billed as a long consult to enable adequate time for assessment.  

Pensioners + HCC holders will be charged reduced rates for acupuncture.

 

We require payment of fees in full on the day of consultation.

We will help you to claim on the spot, so you will receive the Medicare rebate in 1-2 working days.

Please note that in order to claim on the spot, you need to have registered your bank account details with Medicare beforehand. Sign into myGov or ring Medicare to do this.

 

Workcover, Work Medical examinations, + Insurance medicals are subject to different charges.
